Pick 1 – LA Lakers vs Memphis Grizzlies -Pick: Grizzlies +9

Lakers are not at 100% and Grizzlies have given the defending Champs their fair share of trouble last year, and this improved squad should make a good game out of this.

Pick 2 – Milwaukee Bucks vs Portland Trail Blazers – Pick: Bucks -3

The Bucks are the most underrated team in the NBA and should feast on a tired Blazers team today.

Pick 3 – Cleveland Cavaliers vs Atlanta Hawks – Pick: Hawks -3

Hawks are one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference while the Cavs are still trying to find their identity following the exit of LeBron. Hawks should continue their streak with a victory tonight and learn from the mistakes that Boston made couple days ago at the Q.

Free NBA Pick of the day for 10/29: Milwaukee Bucks -4.5 vs Minnesota Timberwolves.

Milwaukee, everyone forgets, are an elite NBA team and they should have no problem easily dismantling the lowly Timberwolves and will want to get the first win of the season after a tough loss against New Orleans. While Milwaukee have never been known as a great road team, head coach Scott Skiles has not let his men slip for even a second in his tenure as the head coach, and that should be no different in their second game of the season.

Free NBA Picks October 26 2010 – Basketball Betting Predictions 10/26

The new season gets underway tomorrow and while early season betting is the most risky, it also proves to be the time of the year when Vegas sets lines in places you wouldn’t expect. This gives informed bettors a real opportunity for some easy wins.

Without any further delay, here are tonight’s 3 main plays.

1) Portland Trail Blazers -7.5 vs Phoenix Suns

This is a no brainer, as having watched several pre season games of the Suns has given me no hope for the team whatsoever this year, barring a miraculous season from Turkoglu. Aldridge should prove to be too much in the paint for either Turkoglu, Lopez or Warrick and Marcus Camby will cleanup any of the misses fired by Brandon Roy, Andre Miller, and Rudy Fernandez.

As much as Steve Nash can have his way with any opposing PG, he also has trouble in defense against aggressive guards and Andre Miller certainly fits the bill.

Jason Richardson is not a bad matchup against Brandon Roy, but even with Roy not playing his best Portland will have too much firepower for the Suns who’s only shot comes from beyond the arc – something they haven’t been very impressive at this year in the preseason.

I expect a blowout here, and Portland should cover 7.5 points easily.

2) The second NBA pick for October 26 2010 is the Over in the Portland vs Phoenix game, which stands bizzarly at 201. These two high tempo teams should have no trouble breaking through that barrier, especially considering its the Phoenix Suns that we’re talking about here who will once again be at the top of the league in points score and also points allowed.

3) The final bet prediction comes in the Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat game. Boston have a nasty side to them, and they will not want to let the Miami Heat out of their building with a win.

OKC hasn’t beaten the Hornets in a while, which is probably why the line is so low, but with Durant playing the way he is, and Chris Paul out, this shouldn’t be close. Bet Large.

February 2 (02/02) Free NBA Pick #1:

Memphis Grizzlies +10.5 vs Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers just had a record first quarter against the Clippers were they completely destroyed the Los Angeles Clippers and set a few franchise records. On the other hand, the Memphis Grizzlies defeated the Los Angeles Lakers. The line is set at +10.5 which suggests that this should be a blowout, but based on the way these two teams played last time, it should be a tight encounter. The Grizzlies defeated the Cavaliers in their last encounter and are well matched up against the Cavaliers with Gay able to somewhat handle LeBron and Gasol and Randolph able to go head to head with Cleveland’s frontline. Cleveland will get the victory, but it will be a single digit victory.

February 2 (02/02) Free NBA Betting Pick #2:

Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets -6

The Warriors are still playing short handed and have never been a good road team. The Rockets on the other hand are deadly at home, and will particularly enjoy finally playing against a sub .500 team. The Rockets should have no problem putting the Warriors away early on, and maintaining a hefty lead throughout thanks to their constant hustle mentality.

February 2 (02/02) NBA Free Picks #3:

Detroit Pistons -2.5 vs New Jersey Nets

The line on this doesn’t matter much because the Detroit Pistons should blow out the New Jersey Nets. The Pistons, despite what their record indicates, are a talented basketball team full of proven players. They won’t let the Nets make a game out of this and hit rock bottom.

Free Basketball NBA Bet February 2 2010 (02/02) #4:

Toronto Raptors +1 vs Indiana Pacers

Even without Turkoglu, the Raptors easily put the Pacers away yesterday and they should do the same tonight in a home to home back-to-back match between the two Eastern Conference sides. The Pacers still have no answer for Bosh and won’t be able to shoot themselves out of a blowout this time like the last meeting in Indiana.

After a successful pick on the January 28th, it’s time to bet on some great games available on January 30th 2010. Let’s get on with it.

First match to bet on is between the New York Knicks vs Washingon Wizards taking place at 8pm on January 30 2010. The Knicks played quite well in their loss against the tough Raptors and after a day off of practice, they are headed to Washington. The weather is terrible so don’t expect this to be a big crowd. Washington on the other hand have just barely beat the measly New Jersey Nets last night. The Knicks should take this one against a demoralized Washington Wizards side.

The other games of the night are Charlotte Bobcats vs Sacramento Kings at 10PM ET on January 30 2010. Both of these teams are coming off back to back games, with Charlotte having just beat the Warriors and the Kings losing out to the Jazz without Boozer or Williams. The Charlotte Bobcats should come away with a victory here as they did several weeks ago.
